Finally, the Music Industry Has Invited Seth Godin to Speak

“…I keep writing books, and writing books about this industry and the industry has never invited me over, so thank you.”

We are proud to announce that the music industry has—at long last—invited Mr. Godin.

Called, the “ultimate entrepreneur for the information Age,” by Business Week, Seth Godin pioneered the concept of permission-based marketing and has gone on to write 13 best-selling books on everything from the post-industrial revolution, the way ideas spread, marketing, quitting, leadership, and most of all, changing everything.

In his lecture program, Godin uses real-world examples to reveal the benefits of using creative, remarkable thinking to transform business ideas and practices. His talent for understanding how to combine business and technology with creative thought has changed how many companies approach their goals—something the music industry needs now more than ever.

When Seth Godin speaks, the world listens. Berklee College of Music, Midem, and the Berkman Center are honored to have his voice added to this year’s Rethink Music roster.
